What Strong in Europe does and does not collect. Short, because the answer is "very little".
No accounts, no forms, no newsletter
There is nothing to sign up for and nowhere to enter your details. We do not ask for your name or email address, and there is no way for you to give them to us through this site.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The one thing stored on your device
If you use the light/dark theme control in the header, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. That value is the word light or dark and nothing else. It is written only when you press the button — if you never touch it, nothing is stored at all. It never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they read. It is cookieless: it does not set identifiers, does not fingerprint your device, and cannot follow you to other sites. The data we see is aggregated — page views, referring sites, countries, and page-speed measurements — and does not identify individual visitors.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, their systems process your IP address in order to deliver the page to you, and keep short-lived operational logs for security and reliability. We do not have access to logs that identify individual visitors.
Links to retailers
Some links take you to online shops, and some of those are affiliate links — explained on the affiliate disclosurepage. Once you follow a link you are on that company's website, under their privacy policy, and they will typically set their own cookies to record that you arrived from here. We do not receive your personal details from them; where a purchase happens we see only aggregated commission reporting.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure and objection regarding personal data held about you. Since we hold no personal data about visitors, there is in practice nothing for us to retrieve or delete — but if you believe otherwise, get in touch at hello@strongineurope.com and we will look into it.
